Those who know me, know that I am a HUGE motorcycle enthusiast. I have been riding motorcycles since I was old enough to ride a bicycle. I have had SEVERAL machines over the years. It truly is in my blood. When Bobby at Houston Superbikes asked me to come photograph one of his custom builds, I couldn’t resist. This amazing (built from the ground up) Ducati GT1000 was a requested customer build and ran in the upwards of $60k to create. A complete titanium frame and subframe complimented this bike and made it extremely unique and beautiful.
The bike was shot in Bobby’s shop and I found the environment to be perfect. Here are some of my favorite images from the day. I enjoyed the dark setting of this image, it complimented the bike’s dark paint job and focused on some of the engine details.
Lindsey Norwood (local Houston model) offered her time to come take a few images with us for fun.
For those who enjoy seeing some behind the scenes images, here is one pullback shot to give you an idea of the lighting setup. For information on some of the amazing custom motorcycles that Bobby and his team create at Houston Superbikes, check out their website at HSBK and their Facebook page.
