I had only ever shot at the Houston Museum of Natural Science one other time, prior to Liz and Andrew’s engagement session. As soon as Liz mentioned this as her desired location for their session, I was all ears. This place has a TON of options for a shoot. A ton. After all, who can say they have had their engagement photos with a T-Rex? These guys can!
Though the weather wasn’t the greatest (it was actually quite cold), we made the best of it. Starting out inside the Paleontology Hall, and working our way around the museum, we were able to get some shots in very unique settings. Liz and Andrews were a ton of fun to work with. They were so sweet together and once the awkwardness of having their “love captured on camera” faded, became quite the models for me.
I had a great time with the both of them and though I am sad I won’t be able to document their wedding day (out of state), I am honored they selected me to be the first to document their long journey together.
